The wedding and reception will be at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium (AWMA), 1301 Constitution Ave., N.W., Washington, DC.

Travel

DC is served by three airports - Regan National (National), Dulles, and Baltimore-Washington International (BWI). The closest is National. You can get to DC from National by cab ($12-$16) or Metro. The easiest way to get to DC from Dulles is by cab ($55). You can reach DC from BWI by cab ($55) or MARC train (MARC tickets to Union Station are $7; Metro and cabs are available to Union Station). We have special event discount with US Airways, which flies direct from Louisville and Hartford to National. Book before April 10 to receive a 10% discount; after April 10 to receive a 5% discount. (Call 877 US GROUPS, reference Gold File Number 24622989). Southwest flies from Hartford and Louisville to BWI, and offers very low web fares (www.southwest.com). Once in DC, the best ways to get around are by cab, Metro and foot.

Hotels

Churchill Hotel - Historic building with modern conveniences, located north of Dupont Circle, on Conn. Ave, near Adams Morgan. Fifteen minutes by cab to the AWMA (202.797.2000, $119).

Courtyard by Marriott - Nice hotel, next to the Churchill (202.332.9300, $149).

Jury's Hotel - Nice, business-type hotel on Dupont Circle. Ten minutes by cab to the AWMA (202.483.6000, $135).

Holiday Inn, Rhode Island Avenue - Recently remodeled hotel, in the Dupont/16th Street area. Ten minutes by cab to the AWMA (202.349.3025, $99).

Please note, DC has many hotel options, and better rates may be available through the web (www.hotels.com, www.expedia.com). In addition, the J.W. Marriott (202.393.2000) and Willard (202.628.9100) are hotels within walking distance of the AWMA, but do not offer special rates.
